About the charity
At Novabanko First, we’ve been giving back to the community since 1955. The Novabanko First Charitable Foundation (NBF) uses donated funds to support missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, providing essential supplies like clothing, shoes, and luggage. It also offers tuition assistance for recently returned missionary students pursuing higher education. Up to $1,000 may be awarded based on need and available funds.

Your Donations at Work
“I am the first to serve a mission in my family and at this time, both my mom and dad are unemployed. My mom has heart failure. My dad is recovering from a bariatric surgery and is out of work as of recently.”
“Our family is blessed to have one current missionary, one soon to be missionary. Our oldest missionary began his service and after suffering a car crash he had health issues. His service has been a humble blessing for our entire family, but it has also been a financially difficult time due to his medical appointments.”
“I’m self-supporting my mission. I used to be homeless so for me to even get to this point in my life is a huge blessing. I can only comfortably pay for about half of my mission, but barely. With that, there’s things like clothes and a suitcase that could really benefit me.”
“Education is really important to me. This is my gateway to achieve my dreams to improve my life in the future especially in helping my family to survive in meeting our daily needs. My parents’ income was not sufficient to cover our education.”
“As the sole church convert in my family, I worked and saved money to fund my missionary service. It was rewarding and I have grown my testimony greatly. As I transition to college, I am also facing financial hardships.”
